Meet Avery Blanchard:

Hello! I’m Avery Blanchard, the Probate Paralegal at Jelks Law. I joined this incredible team in September of 2024 and couldn’t be happier to contribute to our mission: providing peace of mind and supporting our clients through some of the challenges life can throw at us. I’m proud to play a role in making that journey a little easier.

Education and Background

I graduated as a University Scholar from the University of Tennessee at Martin—my hometown—in 2021 with a degree from the College of Business and Global Affairs.During my studies, I had many opportunities to travel internationally and developed a deep interest in how interconnected our world is across cultures and communities.

In September of 2021 I moved to the “big city” of Chattanooga—17 times larger than my hometown— and started the exciting transition from college to life in a new place. I’m very grateful for the wide-ranging experiences I’ve had here so far, all of which have helped prepare me to thrive in my position at Jelks Law.

Personal Interests

As the daughter of two scientists, I have never been far from a camping trip or excursion, which makes Chattanooga a perfect fit. Its natural beauty leaves no lack ofactivities and wildlife to chase on the weekends with my sweet black lab Jeanie, which is my favorite good-weather hobby. When the Tennessee heat (or chill) sets in, you can catch me crafting anything and everything with the best group of friends anyone could wish for.

Closing Thoughts

Every day at Jelks Law gives me the chance to help people navigate a difficult, often unexpected time in their lives with compassion and clarity. I'm proud to be a part of the Jelks Law team and I look forward to continuing to serve our community with respect and understanding.
